Gilbert Stripe Aqua/Green

Sandford FabricF4891-03

Gilbert Stripe Aqua/Green pairs narrow aqua and green-toned stripes with a calm pale ground, giving the design a fresh but restrained look. The vertical stripe reads crisp and orderly rather than bold, with a soft woven surface that keeps it approachable.

About this fabric

This striped fabric has a clean vertical repeat with a horizontal pattern repeat of approximately 18cm and a width of approximately 142cm, making it a practical cloth for tailored schemes. Its composition of 41% viscose, 36% cotton, 21% polyester and 2% linen suggests a fabric with a smooth handle and enough structure for either curtains or upholstery. In this colourway, the aqua and green lines sit lightly against the creamy background, so the overall effect stays airy rather than high contrast. The fine weave and subdued sheen lift the cooler notes without making the stripe look harsh. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √BM, it feels suited to well-considered residential interiors.

How to use it

Use it where you want a neat stripe with a cool, coastal edge, such as tailored blinds, accent chairs or a paired-back bench seat. It works especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed brass.

A fresh striped cloth that pairs easily with pale neutrals and natural timber finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
