About this fabric

Perdita Antique Blue from the Oriana collection by Colefax and Fowler is a fabric with a generous vertical repeat of approximately 50cm and a width of approximately 133cm. Its 49% viscose, 26% linen, 17% cotton and 8% polyester composition helps create the lightly textured, slightly lustrous surface seen in the image. The blue is muted and antique in character, sitting between powder and duck-egg tones, while the pattern adds warm clay, cream and sage accents across the ground. The overall effect is layered and relaxed rather than bright, with the design reading clearly at a distance and revealing finer floral and scroll details up close.

How to use it

This colourway works well on a feature chair, banquette or curtains where the soft blue ground can balance the warmer terracotta notes. Pair it with weathered oak, limestone and washed linens for a settled, collected interior.

Use with warm woods and pale neutrals to let the faded blue ground and terracotta motifs stand out.
