About this fabric

Westcot Stripe Aqua from the Olney collection has a refined striped surface that reads light and fresh rather than bold. The repeat is approximately V 28cm / H 23cm, and the stripe rhythm is visible in the image as closely spaced vertical pin-lines with a subtle tonal shift between the pale ground and the aqua thread. At 139cm wide and woven in 51% Cotton, 30% Viscose, 13% Linen and 6% Polyester, it has the character of a versatile decorative cloth with a soft handle and a slightly crisp, tailored appearance. The aqua is muted and powdery, with enough coolness to feel crisp but not stark, making the whole colourway feel calm and understated. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a room to feel light, coastal and orderly without becoming cold. It pairs especially well with pale oak, white-painted joinery and soft greys, and the narrow stripe gives curtains or cushions a neat, classic edge.

A fresh, airy stripe that works beautifully on tailored blinds, relaxed curtains or light upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Westcot Stripe Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
