Westcot Stripe Red

Olney FabricF4931-02

Westcot Stripe Red has a finely worked vertical stripe that reads as warm and quietly tailored. The blush-terracotta ground and pale pinstripes give it a soft, sunlit finish.

About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is woven in a 51% Cotton, 30% Viscose, 13% Linen, 6% Polyester blend, with a width of approximately 139cm and a repeat of V 28cm / H 23cm approx. The cloth has a crisp, small-scale stripe that stays orderly and narrow across the surface, with a lightly textured handle visible in the weave. In this colourway the red is softened into terracotta and shell-pink tones rather than a bright primary shade, so it feels warmer and more understated. The pale contrasting lines sharpen the pattern and keep the fabric looking fresh and architectural. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact textile.

How to use it

Use it on tailored armchairs, banquettes or Roman blinds where the vertical stripe can add height and a neat rhythm. Its muted red tone pairs well with oak, parchment, stone and deeper burgundy accents.

A restrained stripe that brings warmth and structure without feeling bold.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
