Olney FabricF4935-01
Olney Stripe Red shows a neatly measured vertical stripe in soft red, sand and cream tones. The effect is warm and orderly, with a lightly textured woven surface that keeps the colourway feeling relaxed rather than bold.

About this fabric
Olney Stripe Red from Colefax and Fowler has a vertical repeat of approximately 10cm and a width of approximately 144cm, giving the stripe a calm, evenly spaced rhythm. The blend of 53% viscose, 35% linen, 6% cotton, 5% polyester and 1% acrylic gives the cloth a dry, woven handle with a little surface depth. In this colourway, the red reads as a muted terracotta rather than a bright primary, softened by cream and beige stripes that lift the overall look. The result is a smart but easy-going fabric that feels tailored without looking severe, and the visible weave adds just enough texture to keep the stripes from appearing flat.
How to use it
Use this colourway on cushions, loose covers or a tailored armchair where the warm red stripe can add structure without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with oak, aged brass and soft neutrals, where the terracotta note feels grounded and inviting.
A warm stripe that works neatly across upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Olney Stripe Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
