About this fabric

This Alberta Red colourway from the Romilly collection is woven in 52% cotton, 28% viscose and 20% polyester, with an approximate width of 140cm and a vertical and horizontal repeat of around 4cm. The swatch reads as a muted terracotta-red, with pinkish undertones and a slightly deeper speckled outline that gives the surface extra depth. Its small, regular repeat creates a disciplined, refined look that sits comfortably on upholstered pieces. The finish appears matte and lightly textured, which suits the fabric's smart, tailored character.

How to use it

Use Alberta Red on a compact armchair, bench or dining seats where the warm red can add richness without feeling dominant. It pairs especially well with oak, dark timber and quiet neutrals, where the muted terracotta note stands out softly.

A warm, tightly patterned red that adds texture without overwhelming a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
