Buckton Blue

Romilly FabricF4930-06

Buckton Blue is a quietly tonal colourway with a cool, softened blue-grey look and a fine, closely woven surface. The small-scale texture gives the plain design subtle movement rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Romilly in Buckton Blue is a textile with no visible repeat, keeping the emphasis on its calm, even weave. The supplied composition of 34% Linen, 33% Viscose, 26% Cotton and 7% Polyester helps explain the fabric’s dry-linen look with a slightly smoother, more refined handle. At approximately 139cm wide, it is a practical width for both upholstery and drapery applications, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code are noted for specification purposes. In this colourway, the blue reads muted and slightly greyed, so the surface feels understated rather than bright or nautical.

How to use it

Use Buckton Blue where you want colour without strong contrast: it sits neatly with chalky neutrals, pale timber and polished metal. Its cool, softened tone is especially effective on tailored upholstery, relaxed curtains or a smart upholstered headboard.

A restrained blue with a gentle woven texture, easy to use across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
