Morette Beige

Olney FabricF4934-05

Morette Beige is a quiet, natural-looking neutral with a softly textured, linen-rich surface. Its warm beige tone reads calm and easy, with just enough depth in the weave to keep it from looking flat.

About this fabric

This Olney fabric by Colefax and Fowler is woven in a 47% viscose, 21% linen, 17% cotton, 6% acrylic, 5% polyester and 4% polyamide blend, with a width of approximately 140cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The swatch shows a gentle beige ground with a slightly chalky warmth, where the cross-woven texture creates a small, evenly paced grain across the surface. It has the feel of a refined everyday textile rather than a glossy decorative cloth, and the matte finish helps the colour sit softly in the light. With no performance features noted and a √BH fire code, it is best read as a versatile furnishing fabric for understated, layered interiors.

How to use it

Use this colourway on upholstered seating, Roman blinds or relaxed curtains where a soft beige background is needed without starkness. It works especially well with pale oak, stone and putty tones, adding warmth while keeping the room light.

A versatile warm neutral that suits tailored upholstery and relaxed curtains alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
