Beal Beige

Pelham FabricF4845-01

Beal Beige is a softly woven neutral with a fine basket-like texture and a warm, understated beige ground. The close repeat gives the surface a calm, tailored look rather than a flat plain.

About this fabric

This Pelham fabric from Colefax and Fowler is composed of 45% viscose, 22% linen, 18% cotton, 14% polyester and 1% polyamide, with a width of approximately 141cm. The repeat is approximately V 8cm and H 7cm, which reads here as a subtle, tightly worked textural pattern rather than a bold motif. In Beal Beige, the yarns blend pale oatmeal, sand and muted taupe tones, creating a light-reflective finish with a dry, natural character from the linen and cotton content. The result is an elegant mid-weight textile that feels considered and versatile without appearing stark or overly crisp.

How to use it

Use this colourway on tailored seating, ottomans or relaxed curtains where you want the weave to add interest without competing with pattern. Its warm beige tone sits beautifully with timber, stone and aged brass, and will soften cooler schemes.

A quietly polished neutral that brings gentle warmth and texture to classic schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
