Harcourt Green

Pelham FabricF4844-04

Harcourt Green shows a neat, all-over geometric pattern in layered moss, olive and warm neutral tones. The effect is softly antique rather than bright, with the motif reading crisply across the cloth.

About this fabric

This Harcourt Green colourway from the Pelham collection has a small-scale repeating geometric design that measures approximately V 9cm / H 7cm, giving the surface a tight, ordered rhythm. The woven ground blends 38% viscose, 32% cotton, 17% polyester and 13% linen, which helps the pattern look gently textured rather than flat. At approximately 144cm wide, it is a practical mid-weight fabric suited to either upholstery or drapery, depending on the room and make-up. The green is muted and earthy, with olive and sage notes threaded through a warm beige base, so the contrast stays understated and wearable. It has a smart, quietly traditional feel, with enough depth to add interest without overpowering surrounding finishes.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, dining chair or blinds where the small repeat can be appreciated up close. Its mossy, subdued green pairs well with oak, aged brass and cream-painted joinery.

A refined mossy green that works beautifully on compact upholstery or tailored curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Harcourt Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
