About this fabric

Kendal Old Blue from the Olander collection by Colefax and Fowler is composed of 52% Linen, 36% Cotton and 12% Nylon, with a width of approximately 139cm and a large repeat of V 55.5cm / H 69cm approx. The fabric reads as a light, cool old blue with sage, aqua and muted sand accents, giving the leaf forms a gentle faded freshness on the pale background. The printed motif is large and open, so the design keeps a refined, decorative feel rather than looking dense or busy. With no performance features noted, it suits interior schemes where the emphasis is on pattern, colour and a softer tailored finish.

How to use it

The cool blue and soft green tones work beautifully with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed nickel, especially in a room that needs a calm, garden-inspired layer. Use it for full-length curtains, Roman blinds or light decorative upholstery where the large repeat can breathe.

Use for elegant curtains or tailored blinds to bring a fresh, classical note.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
