Kalina Old Blue

Oberon Sheers FabricF4716-01

Kalina Old Blue shows a soft, translucent ground in a pale, misty blue with airy floral embroidery drifting across the surface. The overall effect is calm and lightly weathered, with the motif reading crisp against the washed, linen-rich background.

About this fabric

Woven in 63% Linen and 37% Viscose, this fabric has the relaxed, slightly slubby look of linen with a smoother drape from the viscose content. The repeat is approximately V 80cm / H 64cm, which gives the embroidered floral pattern a generous, statement scale rather than a tight all-over print. In Old Blue, the ground reads cool and softly faded, while the stems and blooms sit in muted taupe-brown and ivory tones that keep the design understated. At 128cm wide, it is well suited to elegant curtains and sheers where the light can pick out the texture and the delicate raised stitch detail.

How to use it

Use it for full-length curtains, café sheers, or layered interlinings in rooms that need a gentle blue with depth. It sits beautifully with pale oak, aged brass and chalk white, letting the floral embroidery remain the focus.

Pair with chalky neutrals and weathered wood for a soft, elegant scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
