Lysander Ivory

Oberon Sheers FabricF4715-01

Lysander Ivory pairs a soft ivory ground with a warm gold embroidered motif that reads light, elegant and quietly opulent. The large repeating lattice gives the sheer a formal presence without feeling heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 55% viscose and 45% linen, this 127cm-wide fabric has the airy look of a sheer with enough substance to show the embroidered design clearly. The ivory base is gently textured and slightly slubby, while the scrolling motif and outlined diamond forms are worked in a warm champagne-gold thread. Its V 60cm / H 43cm approximate repeat creates a generous pattern that feels architectural rather than delicate. With no performance features noted, it is best treated as a decorative furnishing fabric for settings where the embroidery and soft cream tone can be seen at their best.

How to use it

This ivory-and-gold colourway is especially good for layered curtains, where daylight will soften the embroidery and keep the pattern luminous. It also works well in a pale, tonal room scheme with warm woods, aged brass and textured linens.

Use for elegant curtains where the warm embroidery adds a refined, light-catching finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
