Fernley Silver

Oberon Sheers FabricF4713-01

Fernley Silver has a pale, luminous ground with a softly worked damask pattern that reads in gentle silver-grey. The large scrolling motif feels refined rather than ornate, with the weave and sheen kept light and airy.

About this fabric

This colourway is woven in 58% Linen, 38% Viscose, 4% Polyester, giving it the crisp natural look of linen with a slightly smoother, softer finish. The design shows a large scrolling damask in muted silver-grey tones over a creamy, almost chalk-white ground, so the pattern stays elegant without feeling heavy. At approximately 129cm wide, it is a practical width for curtains and sheers, and the repeat of V 65cm / H 33cm approx. helps the motif fall with a balanced, regular rhythm. The overall effect is bright and understated, with the metallic-like threads catching the light subtly rather than shining hard.

How to use it

This is well suited to softly filtered curtains in a room that needs pattern without visual weight. Its cool silver-beige palette pairs neatly with pale oak, limestone, and upholstered pieces in dove grey or warm white.

Use for elegant curtains where the pale ground keeps the pattern light and airy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
