About this fabric

Woven in 58% linen, 38% viscose and 4% polyester, Fernley Ivory has the relaxed handle and natural slub you would expect from a linen-rich sheer, balanced by the smoother finish of viscose. The cloth is 129cm wide with a large repeat of approximately V 65cm / H 33cm, giving the scrolling damask a graceful, architectural rhythm across the fabric. In this colourway, the ground reads as a creamy ivory rather than a stark white, while the ornamental pattern shifts between pale biscuit, sand and soft taupe, so the effect is warm and quietly classical. The light catches the raised scrolls softly, making the surface feel gently textural rather than glossy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied.

How to use it

This ivory version works well where you want pattern without heaviness, especially at tall windows, dressing rooms or layered interlined curtains. Pair it with plaster, oat and antique brass for a soft, traditional room with a calm glow.

Use with pale woods and warm metallics for a quietly elegant scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
