Elizabeth Old Blue

Oberon Sheers FabricF4739-06

Elizabeth Old Blue reads as a cool, misty blue with a soft grey cast, washed out by the light to a gentle, airy finish. The sheer linen falls in relaxed vertical folds that let the colour shift subtly from panel to panel.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this Oberon Sheers fabric has a naturally slubby, translucent surface that suits soft window dressing rather than structured furnishing. The cloth is extra-wide at approximately 310cm, making it especially practical for continuous drapery with minimal joins. With a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approximately, the emphasis stays on the texture and the calm, pale blue tone rather than pattern. The colourway itself is muted and cool, with a faint silvery quality that brightens where the cloth catches the light and deepens slightly in the folds.

How to use it

Use it for full-length sheers in bedrooms, drawing rooms or bathrooms where you want a light blue that feels clean rather than crisp. It pairs neatly with chalk white paint, pale oak and brushed nickel for a quiet, coastal-leaning scheme.

Use for airy curtains where the soft blue-grey tone can quietly cool a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
