Dereham Blue

Oberon Sheers FabricF4745-02

Dereham Blue presents a delicate damask-style pattern on a pale linen ground, with the blue tones reading soft, airy and slightly washed by light. The overall effect is refined and graceful, with enough detail to give the fabric presence without feeling dense.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the relaxed, lightly slubbed look you expect from a sheers collection, while the pattern adds a decorative layer that still feels open and breathable. The repeat is approximately V 49cm and H 35cm, giving the scrolling motif a generous scale that shows clearly across curtains and full-length drops. In this colourway, the blues are muted and powdery rather than vivid, sitting alongside beige and pale stone outlines for a calm, cool finish. The result is a smart, softly traditional drapery fabric that brings pattern to a room without overpowering it.

How to use it

Use Dereham Blue for curtains or relaxed interlinings in rooms that need pattern with a light touch. Its cool pastel palette works especially well with chalky whites, weathered wood and quiet grey-blue upholstery.

A fresh blue ground with gentle pastel detailing that feels elegant without looking heavy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dereham Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
