Elizabeth Cream is a softly translucent linen sheer with a gentle warm glow. In this colourway, the weave reads as creamy and lightly sun-warmed rather than stark white.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Elizabeth Cream has a fine, open sheer handle that suits long curtain lengths and wide drops. The cloth is shown here with a subtle slubby texture and a calm, even surface, with the light passing through it to create a soft warm cream tone. Its 310cm approximate width makes it especially useful for full-height drapery with fewer joins, and the 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat confirms the understated plain effect. The overall impression is relaxed and understated, with just enough texture to keep the colour from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use this soft cream sheer to temper stronger wall colours or to layer over lined drapes for a lighter look. It works particularly well in rooms where you want filtered daylight and a naturally relaxed feel.

Ideal for airy curtains that soften light with a calm, warm finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
