About this fabric

Woven in 100% silk and measuring approximately 137cm wide, this fabric has a plain look with no repeat, so the emphasis stays on its texture rather than pattern. The colour is a muted stone beige with a faint warm cast, sitting between cream and taupe rather than reading yellow or grey. In the swatch, the silk catches the light gently, creating a low, pearly lustre and tiny irregular flecks that speak to the natural fibre. The result is a composed, versatile textile that feels elegant without becoming shiny or precious. The care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Its quiet neutral tone works beautifully with oak, limestone and chalky paint colours, or as a soft counterpoint to darker timber and bronze details. Use it for curtains or light upholstery when you want the room to feel calm, tailored and slightly luminous.

Use for relaxed tailored schemes where a pale natural silk finish is wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
