About this fabric

This Bracken Blue colourway from the Olney collection by Colefax and Fowler is a versatile fabric at approximately 138cm wide, with a repeat of V 1cm / H 4cm approx. Its 49% viscose, 35% cotton, 9% linen and 7% polyester composition helps create the dry, lightly irregular weave visible in the swatch, where the blue reads cool and softly muted. The small-scale texture and subtle cross-grain movement give the surface depth without a strong motif, so the effect stays understated from a distance and more tactile up close. With no performance features noted, it is best appreciated for its natural-looking, softly faded appearance rather than any high-shine finish.

How to use it

Use this blue on tailored sofas, occasional chairs or simple curtains where a calm, understated colour is needed. It works especially well with pale oak, chalky whites and stone greys, letting the muted blue tone stay cool and easy.
