About this fabric
This Olney fabric combines 49% viscose, 35% cotton, 9% linen and 7% polyester, giving the cloth a balanced handle that suits both curtains and upholstery. The weave shows a fine small-scale check with a subtle herringbone-like texture, visible as the light catches the pale green-grey ground. Bracken Celadon sits in a cool, muted celadon range, softened by chalky beige undertones so it feels calm rather than vivid. The repeat is approximately V 1cm / H 4cm, and the width is approximately 138cm. The overall effect is a restrained, textural fabric with enough surface interest to hold its own on larger pieces without overpowering a room.
How to use it
Use this celadon tone to cool down warmer timber and brass schemes, or pair it with ivory and stone for a fresh layered look. Its small-scale pattern works particularly well on armchairs, loose covers and full-length curtains where the weave can be appreciated up close.
