About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is supplied on a 140cm width and is made from 78% polyester and 22% cotton, giving the cloth a practical blended handle. The 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat creates a generous plaid that reads clearly from a little distance. In this colourway, the beige-brown base looks brushed and heathered, while the burgundy checks add a deeper, more rooted accent without making the design feel harsh. The cream stripes lift the pattern and keep the surface looking balanced rather than heavy.

How to use it

Balmoral Heather works well on a wing chair, dining seat pads or relaxed curtains where the warm plaid can bring character without feeling overdone. Pair it with aged wood, olive accessories and soft neutrals to keep the mushroom and burgundy tones in focus.
