About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is a 140cm-wide textile in 78% Polyester and 22% Cotton, with a pattern repeat of 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal. The check is set out in soft natural shades: warm ivory grounds, light beige blocks and slim taupe lines that read gentle rather than bold. Its woven surface looks smooth and quietly textured, with enough body to suit both upholstery and drapery uses. The overall effect is airy and restrained, with the checked layout staying visible without overpowering the room.

How to use it

Use Balmoral Natural to soften a sofa, wing chair or bench, or carry it into curtains where the pale beige ground will keep the room bright. It pairs especially well with oak, linen, aged brass and other warm neutrals.

A soft neutral check that works neatly on relaxed seating or understated curtains.
