About this fabric

Woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, this 140cm-wide fabric has the practical handle of a textile suited to everyday use while keeping a neat, crisp surface. The 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat creates a generous check that shows up strongly across larger pieces. In this colourway, the dark navy and charcoal lines sit against pale grey squares, with fine blue pinstripes adding a cooler edge to the design. The overall effect is smart rather than rustic, and the weave gives the plaid a slightly textured, grounded finish. Care instructions are BQV1<.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, ottoman or bench where the large check can be fully appreciated, or hang it at a window for a tailored country-house look. Its cool grey-blue palette works especially well with pale oak, brushed steel and soft white paintwork.
