About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is supplied at 140cm wide and composed of 78% polyester and 22% cotton, giving the cloth a practical feel behind its traditional check. The 32cm vertical and 35.5cm horizontal repeat creates a generous plaid that reads clearly across larger pieces. In this colourway, the rusty red lines sit warmly against beige-brown ground tones, with darker brown stripes adding definition and a slightly heritage look. The overall effect is relaxed rather than sharp, with enough contrast to make the check visible without feeling overpowering.

How to use it

Use Balmoral Rust on an armchair, banquette or window seat where its warm red-brown check can add comfort and pattern. It works especially well with leather, aged wood and soft neutral paint colours.
