About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is supplied in a 140cm width and has a 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the check feel broad and balanced across a room. The cloth is composed of 78% polyester and 22% cotton, which suits the tidy, tightly defined weave shown in the swatch. In this colourway, the teal reads dark and slightly muted, softened by oat-toned fields and thin pinkish lines that add warmth without losing the tailored feel. The overall effect is substantial but not heavy, with enough structure for upholstery and enough clarity in the pattern for drapery.

How to use it

Use Balmoral Teal on a covered armchair, bench seat, or Roman blind where the strong check can sit against painted wood and natural textures. Its cool teal and warm neutral mix works especially well with cream, oak, and aged brass.
