Misc Fabric

Balmoral Sage shows a softly faded sage ground crossed with warm tan, taupe and charcoal checks. The result is a calm, country-style tartan that feels light rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This fabric is a 140cm-wide textile in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, with a 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal pattern repeat. In this colourway, the sage background reads pale and slightly silvery, while the overchecks bring in warm beige-brown and muted charcoal lines. The woven surface looks smooth and tidy, giving the check a crisp but gentle finish. It has an easy, relaxed feel that suits interiors wanting pattern without strong contrast.

How to use it

Use Balmoral Sage on cushions, bench seats or a tailored armchair to bring in colour that stays soft and breathable. It would sit well with painted wood, oak, and other natural finishes where the sage and taupe tones can stay understated.

A muted sage check with warm neutral lines, ideal for a classic country look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
