About this fabric

Woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, this fabric has a practical blended handle and a clearly defined check that suits everyday interiors. The 140cm width gives useful coverage for upholstery or curtains, while the 32cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat creates a substantial plaid that keeps its character on larger pieces. In this colourway, the blue bands feel cool and weathered against the warm ivory ground, and the red lines add just enough contrast without making the design feel harsh. The lightly brushed-looking surface and softened colour edges give it a lived-in, country-house mood.

How to use it

Pair it with painted timber, natural linen and dark wood for a relaxed heritage room. It works especially well on chairs, benches or full-height curtains where the blue-and-cream check can be seen at a distance.
