About this fabric

Woven in a 89% polyester, 6% viscose, 3% cotton and 2% linen mix, this fabric has the feel of a practical decorative textile with enough substance for upholstery and drapery. The 20cm horizontal repeat creates the bold vertical stripe effect seen here, while the mix of denim blues, chalky ivory and narrow rust accents keeps the design fresh rather than heavy. At 136cm usable width and rated Heavy Domestic with a 30,000 Martindale, it is well suited to everyday seating as well as statement curtains and accessories. The colourfastness rating of 5 and treatable FR suitability make it a considered choice for busy interiors where pattern and performance both matter.

How to use it

This blue-and-rust colourway works well in rooms with painted whites, oak, or deep navy accents, where the stripe can add energy without overwhelming the scheme. It is especially effective on occasional chairs, blinds, or cushions paired with solid textures in ivory or grey.

Use with warm woods and plain linens to let the lively stripe do the talking.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hendrix Batik Wavy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
