Hendrix Noir Wavy

SS23 Images - Babooshka Fabric

Hendrix Noir Wavy is a lively striped weave with an inky, dark ground cut through by bright teal and rust accents. The small-scale vertical pattern feels crisp and rhythmic, with the textured yarns adding depth.

About this fabric

Woven in 89% polyester, 6% viscose, 3% cotton and 2% linen, Hendrix Noir Wavy has a firm handle and a clearly structured stripe that suits both upholstery and drapery. The 20 cm horizontal repeat creates a confident, repeating banded look, while the 30,000 Martindale rating and Heavy Domestic upholstery grade make it practical for everyday seating. In this colourway, the dark charcoal and navy lines sit beneath vivid teal and orange threads, giving the design a cool base with flashes of warmth. Treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, it is a versatile fabric for pieces that need both visual impact and durability.

How to use it

Use it to bring sharp contrast to a neutral scheme, especially on accent chairs, cushions or tailored curtains. The deep background keeps the teal and rust stripes feeling urban and graphic rather than playful.

A striking striped weave that balances bold colour with a tailored, easy-to-live-with feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
