Litha Spring Flat

SS23 Images - Babooshka Fabric

Litha Spring Flat brings a mellow olive-yellow ground to the Babooshka collection, lifted by a delicate ivory embroidered floral trail. The overall effect is fresh and springlike, with a softly patterned surface rather than a heavy decorative look.

About this fabric

Woven in a 52% polyester, 48% cotton ground with polyester embroidery, this design is 130cm wide and treatable for FR drapery. The swatch shows a soft olive-yellow base that reads warm and slightly muted, giving the white embroidery a clean contrast without feeling stark. Branching stems, stylised blooms and small paisley-inspired motifs repeat across the cloth in a large-scale pattern with a light, airy character. With colour fastness rated 5 and an end use of accessories and drapery, it is best chosen for statement curtains, blinds or accent soft furnishings rather than upholstery.

How to use it

Use it where you want a sunny but grounded note: in a room with oak, linen and aged brass it will feel calm and considered. The ivory pattern works especially well against plaster pinks, soft taupes or chalky off-whites.

Pair with warm neutrals or chalky whites to let the crisp ivory embroidery stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
