Wild grasses and seed heads are printed across a pale ground in a fresh citrus yellow. The effect is airy and natural, with the motif reading clearly without feeling heavy.

About this fabric

Water Meadow Wild Grasses Citrus Flat is a 100% cotton fabric with a 141cm usable width and a 46cm horizontal and vertical pattern repeat. The design shows slender meadow stems, grassy fronds and seed heads in a soft citrus yellow against a light background, giving the cloth a bright but understated look. Its 20,000 Martindale rub test and General Domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for everyday seating as well as drapery and accessories, and it can be treated for FR upholstery or FR drapery. The overall finish feels crisp and lightly textured, with the yellow sitting more as a warm, sunlit accent than a strong gold.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a room to feel lifted and springlike: it works especially well on a small armchair, dining seat pads or relaxed curtains. The pale citrus tone sits neatly with warm whites, oak and soft green accessories.

Pair with pale timber, linen neutrals and leafy accents for a fresh, sunlit scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
