About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a clean, natural handle that suits upholstery, drapery and accessories. The stripe pattern repeats every 14 cm horizontally and 16 cm vertically, giving the design a neat, evenly spaced rhythm across the width. With a usable width of 142 cm and a Martindale rating of 20,000, it is suitable for general domestic upholstery, and it is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. Visually, the barley tone reads as a mellow yellow rather than a sharp citrus shade, with the narrow cream lines adding lift and definition.

How to use it

This colourway works well on upholstered occasional chairs, bench cushions or Roman blinds where its warm yellow can brighten a room without feeling harsh. Pair it with painted timber, oak and soft whites to let the stripe read crisp and cheerful.

Use to bring a sunny, tailored lift to classic or country-inspired rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
