Santana Saffron Flat

Santana Saffron Flat brings a bright saffron ground to the SS23 Images - Babooshka collection, set off with blue-green vertical motifs and small coral accents. The woven pattern reads boldly and cleanly, with a crisp decorative rhythm across the cloth.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 63% Cotton, 26% Viscose and 11% Linen, giving it a natural handle with a slightly structured finish that suits both upholstery and drapery. The usable width is 134cm, the pattern repeats every 45cm both horizontally and vertically, and the Martindale result of 30,000 confirms it as a Heavy Domestic upholstery grade. In this colourway the saffron ground feels warm and luminous rather than brash, while the teal and indigo motifs add strong contrast and keep the design feeling tailored. The surface appears matte and textural, with the lighter cream outlines softening the geometry and making the repeat easy to read from a distance. It is treatable for FR Drapery and Upholstery, making it a practical choice for coordinated schemes.

How to use it

Use Santana Saffron Flat where you want colour without losing structure: it works well on accent chairs, cushions and Roman blinds, especially against painted woods, stone and deep blue finishes. The saffron base adds warmth to cooler interiors, while the teal detailing ties neatly into navy, peacock or green accessories.

Use for statement upholstery or lively curtains where the warm saffron ground can brighten a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
