Jardine Chintz Wavy

SS24 Images - Jardine, Luxoria & Orissa Fabric

Jardine Chintz Wavy shows a lively botanical pattern on an ivory ground, with coral-pink flowers, teal fronds and fresh green leaves. The design feels bright and airy, with the woven base still visible beneath the print.

About this fabric

Woven in a 77% viscose and 23% linen blend, this fabric has a natural-looking slubbed surface that suits both drapery and upholstery. The 140cm usable width and 20,000 Martindale make it practical for everyday interior use, while it is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. Its large 69cm horizontal and 60cm vertical repeat gives the wavy floral arrangement room to unfold across cushions, curtains or occasional chairs. In this colourway, the ivory ground keeps the palette fresh, while the teal and blue foliage and warm pink blossoms add a clear, uplifting contrast.

How to use it

Pair it with pale oak, chalky paint and plain textures so the teal and coral motifs remain the focus. It works especially well in relaxed living rooms or sunrooms where the light can pick out the linen-rich texture.

Use with simple linens or painted wood to let the bright botanical pattern stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
