About this fabric

The colour sits between burnt orange and softened brick, with a muted warmth that becomes gently lighter across the woven surface. Its fine, closely packed grain is clearly visible in the swatch, creating understated texture without a printed motif. At 387 gsm and 27.6 threads per cm, this is a substantial textile well suited to upholstery applications. The 143 cm useable width and 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make the plain design straightforward to position across upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use Allegra Rust on a favourite armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm terracotta tone can anchor a room with cream, walnut, tobacco or aged brass accents. Its quiet plain weave also works well alongside patterned cushions, allowing the rust colour to provide the visual warmth.

A warm rust-toned plain weave that brings earthy colour and a refined woven surface to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
