Oxbow Indigo

Arboretum Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0181-02

Oxbow Indigo pairs a warm cream ground with two cool blue tones arranged in sinuous, branching vertical trails. The darker indigo gives the pattern definition, while the paler blue softens its edges and keeps the overall impression airy.

About this fabric

The design is formed from repeated organic, coral-like branches that wind vertically across the cream background, creating a clear but irregular stripe effect. Indigo supplies the deepest tone, while powder blue sits alongside it in lighter, feathery silhouettes. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width, a 10.05 m standard length and a 20.3 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat. Its supplied weight is 192 gsm, and the flat printed appearance keeps the intricate branching motif visually crisp.

How to use it

Use Oxbow Indigo where the cool blue tracery can stand against warm cream, pale timber or restrained blue furnishings. It would suit a reading room, bedroom or hallway where the vertical movement can add pattern without a heavy, dark backdrop.

Use the cool indigo and pale blue tracery to bring rhythm and contrast to a cream-ground scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
