Roslyn Teal/Cherry

Country House Fabrics FabricSAF0040-04

Roslyn Teal/Cherry pairs a creamy ground with a lively, painterly trail of flowers, leaves and curling stems in teal, cherry red and soft coral. The design feels decorative and full of movement, with the darker outlines giving the motifs crisp definition against the pale background.

About this fabric

This Country House Fabrics design by Sanderson is supplied as a fabric with a usable width of 137 cm and a standard length of 60 m. The pattern has a substantial 71 cm vertical repeat and a 69.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the scale of the trailing botanical motif is intended to be seen properly across wider furnishings. At 402 gsm and 55 threads per cm, it reads as a robust woven cloth rather than a light decorative textile, which suits the substantial, tailored feel visible in the swatch. In this colourway, the cream ground keeps the palette bright while the teal leaves and cherry accents add a classic country-house richness without making the overall effect too dark.

How to use it

Its warm cream ground and jewel-like teal detailing make it an easy way to lift an upholstered armchair or banquette without overpowering the room. Pair it with painted timber, aged brass and plain linens so the cherry notes and flowing stems remain the focus.

Use for statement upholstery or lined curtains where the generous repeat can be shown off.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
