About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a rich, densely woven handle that suits upholstery, with a substantial 405gsm weight and a usable width of 148cm. The surface reads as a vivid fuchsia pink with warm raspberry depth, so it feels bright and jewel-like rather than pastel. In the image, the pile gives a soft, low sheen that lifts the colour in the highlights while the recesses darken to a deeper berry tone. With no pattern repeat and a high thread count of 102 threads/cm, it presents as a clean, uninterrupted colourway for statement seating and cushions.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, ottoman or headboard where the saturated pink can act as the room’s focal point. It pairs well with pale neutrals, smoked glass and dark timber to balance the intensity.
