Dorton Kingfisher from Sanderson’s Dorton Velvets collection is a velvet with a substantial 405 gsm weight and a usable width of 148 cm. The swatch shows a richly saturated kingfisher teal that sits between blue and green, with a muted depth that softens the brightness of the shade. Its plain, non-patterned surface and zero repeat make the colour and pile the focus, while the dense 102 threads per cm specification supports the fabric’s polished finish.
