About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet is supplied as a 148 cm-wide fabric with a 40 m standard length, a substantial 405 gsm weight and no pattern repeat, making it straightforward to cut and pattern-match. The close, even pile gives the swatch a smooth, refined hand and a plush sheen rather than a printed finish. Its colour sits between golden yellow and burnt mango, with a richer, slightly darker cast in the shadows and brighter amber highlights where the pile lifts. With 102 threads per cm, it has a finely woven, dense feel that suits tailored upholstery pieces.

How to use it

Pair this mango-gold velvet with walnut, smoked oak or deep green accents to heighten its warm glow. It also works well as a single bold note on an occasional chair or bench in a quieter neutral room.
