About this fabric

The design is dominated by large peacock figures, with blue and teal bodies, long green tails and burgundy patterned breast feathers set against the pale natural background. Blue berries, leafy stems, small flowers and fine curling tendrils fill the spaces between the birds, creating a dense ornamental composition. The contrast between the quiet cream ground and the darker jewel-toned details gives this colourway depth without making it feel overwhelmingly dark. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification, so its suitability should be considered from the visible substantial, upholstery-oriented appearance of the textile.

How to use it

The warm natural ground works particularly well on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional sofa, where the blue-green peacocks can act as the room’s defining motif. Balance it with plain linens, aged wood and restrained blue or olive accents rather than introducing another strong pattern.
