About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Hartwell Stripe Navy has a clean, matte handle that suits everyday interiors. The design repeats horizontally at approximately 7cm with no vertical repeat, creating a neat rhythm of slim navy lines against a soft off-white ground. The navy reads cool and slightly softened rather than inky, so the overall effect is calm and crisp rather than high contrast. At approximately 135cm wide and coded C 8 + T 3 with √BM fire performance, it is a practical choice for a range of domestic schemes.

How to use it

Use this colourway to sharpen pale walls, painted joinery or timber furniture, where the narrow navy stripes add structure without feeling heavy. It is especially effective in rooms that need a smart coastal note or a classic tailored finish.

A crisp, tailored stripe that works neatly across both seating and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
