Planas Soleil

Anna FabricM4037-02

Planas Soleil pairs a clear cream ground with a mustard-gold damask that feels bright, orderly and decorative. The repeating scroll motifs have a sharp, slightly textured edge that gives the design a tailored finish.

About this fabric

Woven in a 55% Cotton, 35% Polyester, 10% Viscose composition, this fabric has a balanced handle that suits both upholstery and drapery applications. The design repeats in a large-scale vertical and horizontal arrangement, with an approximate repeat of V 65cm / H 68cm, so the pattern reads with plenty of presence across a room. In this colourway, the gold is warm and slightly muted rather than brassy, which keeps the ornate scrolling motif grounded against the pale background. The surface in the image looks smooth and clean rather than heavily textured, helping the damask effect stay crisp and refined.

How to use it

Use this mustard-gold version to lift classic seating, roman blinds or statement cushions, especially where you want pattern without a dark visual weight. It works well with chalk white, natural oak and deeper olive or ink accents.

A crisp cream ground with warm mustard-gold ornament for a tailored, uplifting look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Planas Soleil without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
