Boscombe Sienna

Archive Collection FabricBOSCOMBE COL 2

Boscombe Sienna is a richly ornamented textile with a warm terracotta ground and a highly symmetrical botanical composition. Charcoal outlines give the design strong definition, while cream and muted green details soften its depth.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a large-scale, vertically arranged floral motif, with layered pointed petals at the centre, curling stems and paired leafy forms near the lower edge. Its sienna terracotta, rust and burnt orange tones create a warm, earthen impression, contrasted by deep charcoal grounds and outlines. Cream foliage and subdued green leaves add small areas of light and coolness without reducing the pattern’s overall richness. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Boscombe Sienna where its warm rust-and-terracotta depth can act as the focal point, such as on a traditional armchair, buttoned footstool or occasional seat. Pair it with charcoal, aged cream and muted olive furnishings to echo the colours within the pattern.

Use this richly detailed sienna colourway as a statement upholstery on a traditional or eclectic chair, sofa or footstool.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
