About this fabric

Across the pale fawn ground, tiny irregular olive-brown marks form a tightly scattered, almost stippled field rather than a bold repeat. The velvet surface reads softly brushed, with the low-contrast colour pairing giving the swatch a calm, earthy depth. The supplied 514 gsm weight and 141 cm usable width support its classification as a substantial upholstery velvet. Its small pattern repeats at 16.1 cm vertically and 17.6 cm horizontally, with 65 threads per cm recorded for the construction.

How to use it

Use Fawn Olive on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm fawn base can soften darker timber and its olive flecks can connect with sage, moss or aged-brass accents. The restrained pattern also works well as a grounding upholstery against plain cream or stone textiles.

The warm fawn ground and muted olive flecks bring quietly patterned depth to upholstered seating.
