Zela Ink/ Gold

Momentum 14 Fabrics FabricHAF0421-01

Zela Ink/ Gold presents a softly weathered olive ground threaded with pale gold and grey highlights. Its close vertical strié gives the surface a calm, finely textured appearance rather than a strong graphic motif.

About this fabric

This 310 gsm textile has a narrow, directional texture visible across the full swatch, with the olive tone lightened by irregular gold-beige threads. The supplied 45.2 cm vertical and 45.8 cm horizontal pattern repeats support careful placement when the fabric is being cut or joined. At 138 cm usable width and a standard 40 m length, it offers practical coverage for coordinated upholstery and drapery schemes. The dense appearance of 326 threads per cm gives the colourway a composed, tailored feel while preserving the softly variegated surface.

How to use it

Use the muted olive-gold tone to soften a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtain, pairing it with warm timber, aged brass and understated cream textiles. Its fine vertical movement can also add gentle height to blinds or upholstered panels without introducing a dominant pattern.

The muted olive-gold ground and fine vertical strié bring quiet texture to upholstery, curtains and coordinated furnishings.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Zela Ink/ Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
