About this fabric

This 514gsm velvet is visibly dominated by a rich black-ebony tone, with small irregular fawn flecks distributed closely across the face. The high-contrast marks read as a fine all-over texture from a distance, while revealing their individual scale at close range. A usable width of 141 cm makes it practical for upholstery applications. The pattern repeats every 16.1 cm vertically and 17.6 cm horizontally, and the fabric has 65 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Fawn Ebony on a statement chair, sofa or headboard where its dark, quietly patterned ground can anchor a room. Warm timber, aged metal and soft ivory textiles will draw out the fawn notes without competing with the dense flecking.

Use this deep ebony velvet on tailored upholstery, balancing its fine fawn flecks with warm wood, ivory or aged brass.
