About this fabric

This heavy 584gsm fabric is well suited to upholstery, with a 138cm usable width for covering substantial furniture pieces. Across the black-earth ground, short chalk-toned flecks form a closely spaced, almost pebble-like texture that shifts subtly as the light catches the raised threads. Its 1.7cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats keep the surface visually small-scale and easy to place across cushions or larger upholstered forms. The recorded 87 threads per centimetre reinforces the dense, substantial impression visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Pair this near-black colourway with pale oak, chalky walls or warm ivory upholstery accents to keep a dark sofa or chair from feeling heavy. Its small-scale chalk flecking also works well with plain linens and restrained geometric details.
