About this fabric

The shade sits between slate and denim, with pale chalk threads catching the light across the surface and gently breaking up the blue-grey tone. Its dense, nubby boucle texture is formed from tiny irregular marks, giving the cloth a close, understated pattern at 1.7 cm vertically and horizontally. Weighing 584 gsm, it has the substantial handle expected of an upholstery fabric, while the 138 cm usable width supports practical covering layouts. The supplied construction is recorded at 87 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Celestial/Chalk on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool blue-grey tone can balance warm timber, pale stone and chalk-toned walls. The small-scale texture adds interest without competing with larger checks, plains or softly patterned cushions.
